How Adele Shed the Weight (and Her Ex)

We are ALL envying Adele's weight loss journey and her new KILLER bod! Fans around the world, over 10 million of them, were shocked on Wednesday when the singer posted the below photo of herself on Instagram, showcasing her new killer look.
The singer took to Instagram for the first time in 2020 to thank her followers for all of the birthday wishes as well as sending a thank you to all of the healthcare workers for working tirelessly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
But back the question we are ALL wondering, how did Adele lose close to 100 pounds in about a year? Adele's former trainer, Pete Geracimo, recently spoke up about her transformation. The fitness guru turned to Instagram to share a bit into his life while training music superstar, insisting that "it was never about getting super skinny... it was about getting healthy." He continued to speak on Adele's character explaining that throughout all the highs and lows of her weight loss process, she always "marched to the beat of her own drum, on her own terms."
During their intense training process, Geracimo explained, "she warmed to training and and made better food choices. As a result she lost a considerable amount of weight and the world took notice."
In addition to her killer workouts, Adele has stuck to a strict 1,000 calorie diet, also known as the Sirtfood Diet. He also noted that Adele has been through a considerable amount of "tough personal challenges" in the past year.
Adele went into "hiding" mid-2019, shortly before the world caught news of her separation from husband, Simon Konecki. The pair filed for divorce in September of 2019, remaining amicable for their son, Angelo.
Although, 2019 and early 2020 were filled with changes for Adele, she remained true to her music. She is slated to release a new album in September 2020, with song topics ranging from love and heartbreak to motherhood. We can only hope with a new album in the works, a new tour will be in the works as well.
